Soya beans and their products are valued due to their high quality, especially with respect to protein and its amino acid profile. In their untreated form soya beans contain a number of factors that diminish their nutritional value. Treatment of the soya beans is required to eliminate these anti nutritional factors, especially in the case of monogastric diets.
